I Hate Music Voume 5

So I just realized I hadn't uploaded this CD cover yet.

Incase you don't already know, I make these mix CDs for my friends called I Hate Music. Its an ongoing series. This is volume 5.

The official release date was February 21st. Which means: on February 21st I found myself with a lot of free time so I wasted hours upon hours organizing tracks, burning cds, designing the covers, printing, cutting, pasting the pages, and putting it all together.
This one was a complete mess. I decided that making an actual book instead of just a cover and the page pasted on the back of the cover would be a good idea. I put these in those slim jewel cases, so you can't have back covers. I've got like a million empty slim cases.. so its nice to get them out of my room. Anyway yea, I measured the dimensions wrong and had to trim a lot and it just turned outs hitty. And the colors were all wrong and my face was blurry half the time and you couldn't see the gradient on the speach bubble and I had to reprint them like 6 times before I got a good one....... GOD IT SUCKS BEING A NEAT FREAK.
Yea so I wasted an entire Friday on this piece of trash.

I haven't made one since. I'm working on the 6th one at the moment though. I think I'm gonna try and make it a digicase, which will be the hardest design to date. Hey, at least I'm getting experience in making CDs the DIY way!

As for the music: Unearth is one of the best metalcore bands out there; Raised Fist is a godmighty hardcore punk band; As I Lay Dying is a grand metalcore band; Coalesce are metalcore legends; Poison The Well is the most controversial band to the hardcore 'scene'; The Broadways are the best punk band ever (now dead and moved on to The Lawrence Arms and The Honor System); The Dillinger Escape Plan is, quite simply, 'organized chaos'; Cursive is the most emotional band on the planet; Hot Water Music is power chords with scruffy vocals, and they are god; Propagandhi is the best punk rock band ever.. right next to The Broadways; American Tragedy is more fun metalcore; Mastodon is grand metal with kickass drums; Shai Hulud is the best band to ever scream in the history of the world; Refused is one of the greatest experimental hardcore bands, and they are fucking dead; and finally, Rumbleseat is the acoustic side-project from the Hot Water Music guys.
All descriptions are extremely biased.
